More Anthology News - FIRST THRILLS

My short story, “Killing Carol Ann,” is coming out in the anthology FIRST THRILLS June 22 from Tor Books. This is the product of the second class of ITW debut authors, basically Killer Year 2008. It's going to be fantastic!

Edited by the venerable Lee Child, it also features Steve Berry, Sean Michael Bailey, Ken Bruen, Ryan Brown, Bill Cameron, Rebecca Cantrell, Stephen Coonts, Jeffery Deaver, Karen Dionne, Theo Gangi, Rip Gerber, Heather Graham, Alex Kava and Deb Carlin, John Lescroart, John Lutz and Lise S. Baker, CJ Lyons, Grant McKenzie, Michael Palmer with Daniel James Palmer, Marc Paoletti, Cynthia Robinson, Karin Slaughter, Kelli Stanley, and Wendy Corsi Staub.

Read more about it on the ITW website here. It will also be among the great anthologies featured at Thrillerfest's Friday night event.

THRILLERS: 100 Must Reads

Thrillers: 100 Must-Reads, edited by David Morrell, Hank Wagner (Oceanview)

Thrillers: 100 Must-Reads features essays by modern thriller writers on 100 works -- from Beowulf to The Bourne Identity, Dracula to Deliverance, Heart of Darkness to Hunt for Red October -- deemed must-reads by International Thriller Writers.

I'm so excited that my essay examining Nelson DeMille's THE CHARM SCHOOL was included. This is a really cool book - and it's not too early to pre-order!!! The big launch party will be Friday night at Thrillerfest - should be a blast!
