Looking for a dark tale? I loved this gorgeously evocative story from Sarah Stovell, set in the Lake District and genuinely creepy. All writers should read this one!
This book moved me, surprised me, and I fell in love. What more can you ask for? EVERYTHING WE KEEP is so cinematic, I just know it'll be on the big screen someday. (PS: It's on Kindle Unlimited!)
I’d somehow never read MY COUSIN RACHEL, and I loved its subtle manipulations.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t share REMODELISTA: The Organized Home with you before January. So many tips and tricks in this one to help you organize and eliminate clutter. I love a simple, pared-down room

This lovely book is the prequel to PRACTICAL MAGIC. It's so lovely, in fact, that Reese Witherspoon picked it for her book club!
The Near Witch is only an old story told to frighten children. If the wind calls at night, you must not listen. The wind is lonely, and always looking for company. And there are no strangers in the town of Near. These are the truths that Lexi has heard all her life. But when an actual stranger—a boy who seems to fade like smoke—appears outside her home on the moor at night, she knows that at least one of these sayings is no longer true.
Be careful what you wish for. If you’re a witch, you might just get it. As romance and longing swirl through every picturesque side street, the witches of Cambridge find their lives unexpectedly upended and changed in ways sometimes extraordinary, sometimes heartbreaking, but always enchanting.
Literary Witches draws a connection between witches and visionary writers: both are figures of formidable creativity, empowerment, and general badassery. Through poetic portraits, Taisia Kitaiskaia and Katy Horan honor the witchy qualities of well-known and obscure authors alike, including Virginia Woolf, Mira Bai, Toni Morrison, Emily Dickinson, Octavia E. Butler, Sandra Cisneros, and many more.
